Perform accounting functions for assigned entities including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, bill paying, vendor interface, and reporting. Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and implement software solutions, streamline processes, and automate workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Oversee Chancery accounting operations including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, payroll review, accounts payable/receivable, financial analysis, budgeting support, audit coordination, and supervise Accounts Payable Coordinator while ensuring compliance with policies and fund restrictions.

Assess lifting requirements and develop technical drawings, crane layouts, and rigging details. Produce 2D/3D AutoCAD models, calculate crane/ground bearing requirements, liaise with stakeholders, and prepare design reports and customer documentation. Conduct site visits as needed.

Design and coordinate integrated building technology systems (structured cabling, networking, AV, security). Prepare design documentation, specifications, calculations, perform field observations, review shop drawings, and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients through concept to construction.

Support automation engineers by developing and correcting electrical drawings, performing network testing and field data collection, assisting with HMI and PLC modifications under supervision, and troubleshooting automation systems.

Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel booking, expense processing, meeting minutes, confidential communications, project follow-ups, and ad hoc research to streamline executive and office operations.

Lead resolution of complex support tickets for ad measurement and data issues, escalate to Engineering/Product as needed, mentor/support other Support staff, improve ticketing processes and automation, maintain documentation, and relay recurring customer insights to Product and Engineering.

Own full-cycle technical recruiting for engineering and product roles: source passive candidates, partner with hiring managers to define requirements and interview loops, manage screening and offers, build pipelines and scalable processes, track recruiting metrics, and represent Avoca's employer brand to close top technical talent in a fast-growing, in-office startup.
