The Reader/Scribe will assist a visually impaired person by reading materials, describing visual aids, and providing support in the workplace. This is an on-call, on-site role.

Source, engage, and pre-screen candidates across technical and non-technical roles; develop targeted sourcing strategies; build talent pipelines using networks and sourcing platforms; conduct phone screens; maintain ATS/CRM records; partner with recruiters and hiring managers; support recruiting events and provide market intelligence.

Provide federal EEO expertise across counseling, ADR, investigations, complaint processing, MD-715/affirmative employment support, training development, policy drafting, and program compliance. Prepare reports, FADs, case records, and support agency EEO reviews.

Manage intake, assessment, and cradle-to-grave processing of reasonable accommodation requests; lead interactive process with employees, HR, managers, and medical providers; review documentation; draft determinations; maintain records; provide training; and prepare reports and metrics.

Administer web-based Maryland Youth Risk Behavior Survey in ~385 middle and high schools across specified MD counties. Conduct in-person survey visits, call schools to prepare, enter daily participation data online, attend mandatory 2-day training, travel within MD, follow schedules, lift up to 25 lbs, pass background screening, and maintain professional appearance and communication.

The Reasonable Accommodations Specialist manages accommodation requests under federal laws, reviews medical documentation, ensures compliance, and collaborates with HR to implement accommodations.
