Manage supply and inventory of containers and equipment for shippers, truckers and railroads. Track and release equipment, create empty bookings, handle permits/paperwork, plan and steer empty container movements, issue work orders, reposition containers, monitor vendor performance and costs, update reports and dashboards, and resolve equipment/invoice inquiries to minimize turnaround times.

Lead DMAIC-based projects, process mining, root cause analysis, performance tracking, and ideation. Identify offshoring and bundling opportunities, coordinate with global process excellence teams, build project management capabilities, and present progress and recommendations to senior leadership. The role requires stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, process improvement expertise, and occasional travel.

Coordinate inland transportation from shipment planning through completion, including forecasting arrivals, assigning movements, monitoring vendors, documenting delays, resolving disputes, updating reports, and creating work orders. Handle customer calls, booking queries, shipment amendments, and cross-functional communication with operations, sales, and customer service teams. Maintain vendor records, data quality, KPI compliance, and timely case resolution while supporting process improvements and customer satisfaction.

Analyzes commercial and sales performance data to support forecasting, budgeting, market segmentation, customer retention, profitability, and revenue growth. Builds dashboards and KPI reports, evaluates trends and opportunities, ensures data quality, and presents recommendations to leadership. Partners with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and global teams on performance reviews, strategic initiatives, scenario modeling, and continuous process improvement.

Provides clerical, administrative, and operational support to the sales team. Responsibilities include managing customer data, handling audits and exceptions, refreshing and verifying rates, supporting 3PA pricing, and processing free-time requests. The role requires liner shipping industry experience, familiarity with company products and ship systems, attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
