Lead HR for a distribution center, advise leadership on staffing, succession, performance, and compliance. Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, payroll/benefits administration, employee relations, investigations, and safety/workers' compensation initiatives. Analyze workforce data to improve efficiency, develop HR team members, partner on continuous improvement, and foster a positive, union-free work environment.

Manage distribution center receiving, order selection, loading, and inbound/outbound workflows. Enforce SOPs, monitor KPIs for safety, productivity, and quality, lead hiring/training/discipline, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement across multi-shift operations.

Support HR and DC leadership with recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, payroll/timekeeping support, recordkeeping, compliance, and employee engagement across shifts.

Lead and manage all payroll functions including payroll processing, taxes, unemployment, garnishments, year-end W-2s, reconciliations, SOX compliance, vendor relationships, and Workday system testing. Drive process improvements, team oversight, cross-functional coordination, and escalate/resolution support across HR, Accounting, and Store Operations.

Manage end-to-end international import shipments from supplier origin to final delivery at distribution centers. Coordinate bookings, ocean transportation, customs clearance, drayage, transload, and final delivery. Monitor shipment milestones, container dwell time, detention/demurrage exposure, and carrier/forwarder performance. Prioritize shipments, resolve service disruptions, support sourcing and carrier reviews, partner with Finance on freight discrepancies, and ensure compliance with import policies and routing guides. Provide reporting, analysis, and continuous improvement for transportation performance.

Support Accounts Payable by researching payment issues, running queries and reports, monitoring system interfaces, performing monthly Lawson AP close, resolving interface errors and debit balances, leading AP system testing, and assisting with budgeting, KPIs, and process improvements.

Lead and execute operational, compliance, and SOX audits across stores, distribution centers, and corporate functions. Plan audits, perform testing of controls, document findings, perform root-cause analysis, produce reports, follow up on remediation, supervise staff, and recommend process improvements. Travel up to 20% to U.S. and Canada locations.

Manage day-to-day pricing workflow execution and systems (RMS), validate and audit pricing events for 100% accuracy, resolve pricing issues, coordinate cross-functionally (Merchandising, Marketing, Store Ops, IT, Visual), produce store communications, manage retail and DSD uploads, test promotions, and deliver presentations and analyses to support pricing initiatives and continuous improvements.

Manage, configure, and optimize workforce management systems (e.g., Legion/Compass); lead implementations and upgrades; ensure data accuracy for forecasting, scheduling, and real-time adherence; design dashboards and reports; troubleshoot issues; train analysts and stakeholders; recommend automation and maintain system documentation and compliance.

Provide administrative and analytical support for corporate property, casualty, and specialty insurance programs. Assist with annual renewals, underwriting data, COI issuance and tracking, invoice/payment management, audit responses, loss run and exposure validation, claims support, and special projects to ensure compliance and data integrity.
