Translate business and user needs into functional specifications for a web-based financial platform. Lead requirements gathering, acceptance criteria, testing (functional/regression), UAT, demos, and documentation. Coordinate cross-functional Agile teams, manage enhancement/bug tracking, perform root cause analysis, and model workflows to support development through the SDLC.

Manage fiduciary governance and plan compliance for assigned retirement plans: respond to sponsors/participants, process payroll uploads and recordkeeper forms, monitor plans monthly, perform year-end testing and 5500 audit support, prepare plan assessments, notices, and 404(a)(5)/408(b)(2) disclosures.

Perform nondiscrimination testing and Form 5500 reporting for defined contribution plans to ensure qualification and compliance with IRS limits. Analyze client census data, calculate employer allocations and projections, perform ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, Coverage, Compensation and other tests, prepare government filings and audit packages, identify compliance issues, recommend corrective actions, and support internal and external partners.

Process participant retirement plan transactions (loans, hardships, distributions, QDROs, RMDs, in-service). Communicate with participants and plan sponsors, maintain system contact records, monitor email support queues, prepare notices/disclosures, assist with audits and compliance, and follow fraud-prevention protocols.

Senior specialist responsible for ERISA-qualified retirement plan compliance: perform and quality-review nondiscrimination testing, QDRO and death distribution reviews, update compliance materials, resolve escalated technical issues, support plan design and onboarding, and maintain expert knowledge of qualified plan regulations and department procedures.

Manage administration and client relationships for non-qualified retirement plans: maintain records, interpret plan documents, provide client support, produce calculations and reports, run web demonstrations, coordinate enrollments, resolve issues, and participate in client and sales meetings.

Writes, coordinates, and publishes internal and client-facing communications across channels; creates and maintains annual communication plans; facilitates business and technical reviews; produces web/email/content and training materials; maintains CMS/HTML content; and ensures accuracy, branding, and compliance with retirement-plan industry requirements.

Serve as case manager for placement of nonqualified benefit plans (BOLI, COLI, ICOLI). Liaise with carriers, producers, and clients; determine required forms; negotiate substandard cases; manage multiple cases to meet deadlines; provide status updates; and recommend process improvements to enhance placement efficiency.
