The Business Development Representative conducts inbound and outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, social selling, and networking. They research prospects, qualify opportunities using BANT methodology, conduct introductory calls, book meetings, maintain CRM records, and hand qualified opportunities to enterprise sales teams. The role is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, team performance, and achievement of sales goals in the home improvement industry. It is based in an office Monday through Friday with additional weeknight and Saturday phone availability.

Maintains and orders general merchandise across multiple locations, manages vendor communications and product records, tracks order fulfillment and cancellations, prepares vendor reporting, and supports store managers with inventory needs. The role also coordinates cross-department problem-solving, monitors shared communications, manages competing deadlines, and participates in weekly planning and progress reviews.
