Manages plant financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, accounting records, cost analysis, inventory accounting, tax and treasury activities, audit relationships, statutory reporting, and internal controls. Supports procurement finance through budgeting, forecasting, supplier financial risk analysis, sourcing evaluations, direct-material performance reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley testing, price updates, tariff reporting, and process automation. The role partners with manufacturing and procurement teams to improve financial controls, assess sourcing options, monitor supplier conditions, and identify opportunities to automate manual processes.

Audits supplier tooling quotes, cost breakdowns, purchase orders, and documentation for procurement and customer compliance. Manages tooling data collection, validation, asset tracking, billing support, funding recovery, and audit readiness. Coordinates customer tooling audits and supplier site visits, supports business cases, and trains buyers and suppliers on tooling processes. Requires collaboration with suppliers, customers, sales, procurement, finance, and manufacturing teams.

Supports mechanical engineering design and continuous improvement in high-volume manufacturing. Responsibilities include designing tooling, fixtures, gages, and production equipment; creating 3D models and engineering drawings; troubleshooting tooling and production issues; supporting automation projects; collaborating cross-functionally; maintaining documentation; and following safety and quality standards.

Supports plant controls and automation teams by developing, troubleshooting, and improving PLC, HMI, robotic, servo, and motion-control systems. Assists with equipment monitoring, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, automation projects, testing, commissioning, validation, documentation, and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Participate in a summer internship gaining hands-on professional experience, contributing to departmental projects, attending meetings and training, collaborating across the organization, and developing technical, professional, and interpersonal skills. Interns will learn about Dauch’s products and processes, support organizational goals, build relationships with leaders and colleagues, and expand their professional network.

Assists with planning, designing, installing, and improving manufacturing processes and equipment. Supports equipment proposals, cost projections, installations, operator training, process documentation, equipment records, prototype development, and continuous production operations. Helps identify and resolve manufacturing issues while maintaining quality, cost, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Supports global insurance, risk management, treasury, foreign exchange, derivatives accounting, pension activities, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and enterprise risk management. Responsibilities include insurance program administration, claims and policy analysis, workers’ compensation accounting, FX exposure reporting, hedge accounting, financial disclosures, SOX testing, and treasury-related reviews.
