As a Staff Engineer in Power Engineering, you will lead large-scale projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, conduct power system analyses, and mentor team members while collaborating on innovative engineering solutions.

Performs basic engineering tasks, technical assignments, presentations, and project-related work supporting company operations. Leads complex oil and gas engineering and construction projects from planning through execution. Establishes project teams, coordinates technical resources and contractors, manages schedules, forecasts, proposals, costs, risks, and project reporting. Develops economically sound solutions that improve reliability, safety, efficiency, and profitability while meeting deadlines and corporate objectives. Requires extensive facility construction or operations experience and substantial travel.

Provides clerical and administrative support to leaders and departments, responds to business inquiries, assists with projects and invoice management, prepares documents, monitors data, maintains cost center information, and manages office pool vehicle scheduling, maintenance, registration, compliance, and availability.

Prepares, redlines, negotiates, and coordinates execution of commercial agreements, particularly natural gas midstream and marketing contracts. Advises internal partners on contract solutions, mitigates contractual exposure, develops templates and policies, resolves customer issues, supports business development, and leads process improvements. The role also mentors team members and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders.

Leads category and sourcing strategies for electrical equipment, battery energy storage systems, and power generation applications. Researches markets, evaluates technologies and suppliers, develops cost-saving initiatives, manages supplier relationships and disputes, and aligns commercial strategies with technical and business objectives. The role requires category management, supplier management, negotiation, material planning, market research, and technically informed stakeholder communication.

Leads moderate-to-large oil and gas engineering and construction projects from planning through execution. Coordinates project teams and technical resources, manages schedules, costs, reports, RFPs, contractor selection, and risk. Applies engineering principles, PLC/Stage-Gate processes, facility operations knowledge, and economic analysis to improve reliability, profitability, and lifecycle performance. Requires extensive stakeholder coordination and travel up to 50%.

Performs month-end accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, management and SEC reporting, variance analysis, audit support, and financial data analysis. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards and SOX controls, prepares reports for stakeholders, participates in process improvement projects, and supports less experienced colleagues. A bachelor’s degree and at least four years of energy-industry accounting experience are required.
