Develops long-term relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners while selling HVAC controls and building automation solutions. Responsibilities include consulting on technical and financial solutions, identifying customer needs, converting leads, coordinating sales teams, creating account business plans, answering technical questions, and visiting customers. Requires solution sales experience, HVAC knowledge, and a valid in-state driver's license.

Responsible for HVAC equipment selection, configuration, validation, pricing, submittals, order entry, and project cost reconciliation. Reviews plans and specifications, identifies savings opportunities and cost issues, supports sales, negotiates vendor pricing, and provides technical support for equipment installation, startup, warranty service, and controls. The role also manages equipment-related project budgets and requires collaboration with vendors, sales, and project teams.

Lead product security for residential HVAC controls and connected devices: perform threat modeling, secure design reviews, penetration testing, SAST/DAST/SCA/fuzz testing, manage vendors, lead incident response and Security Champions, and advise on product security requirements and risks.

Validate and optimize HVAC equipment selection, pricing, and configurations; evaluate cost savings and project risks; prepare and release submittals; negotiate vendor pricing; prepare orders and reconcile job costs; support sales and provide technical installation, start-up, warranty, and controls support for customer satisfaction.

Manage planning, scoping, execution, and delivery of digital projects. Build business cases, analyze commercialization performance, drive cross-functional collaboration, and communicate project status to leadership. Champion digital tools and user engagement to support product commercialization and revenue goals.

Lead end-to-end value stream user experience for initiatives like Oracle ERP and WorkSight. Define and document business processes, personas, and journey maps; align stakeholders; identify improvements; translate impacts into requirements and roadmaps; collaborate with architects and product owners to deliver efficient, end-to-end user experiences. Travel ~25%.

Lead complex manufacturing, automation, capacity, and productivity initiatives from concept through implementation. Provide technical leadership for processes, equipment, and systems, manage capital projects, develop budgets and schedules, and partner cross-functionally to build scalable manufacturing capabilities. Mentor engineers and present business cases to plant and business leaders.

Provide budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and reporting support. Perform variance analysis, revenue recognition, monthly close tasks, and price realization/mix analysis. Partner with business leaders on ROI/ROIC analysis, financial modeling, cash flow and working capital optimization, and ad-hoc P&L analyses to support decision-making and process improvements.

Serve as primary customer contact for quotes through delivery, generate and convert sales and service-contract revenue, manage orders and inventory, maintain paperwork and processes, respond to customer inquiries, and mentor peers on standard sales methodologies.
