Lead embedded software architecture for automotive radar and autonomous driving systems. Responsibilities include AUTOSAR OS, BSW and MCAL configuration, CAN/Ethernet communication-stack development, CPU and memory optimization, interface design, safety-standard implementation, cybersecurity alignment, code reviews, and cross-functional problem solving in an Agile environment.

Supports warranty analysis by reviewing customer claims, participating in returns testing and root cause investigations, implementing corrective actions with engineering and manufacturing teams, maintaining claim records, analyzing warranty trends, and tracking warranty costs with finance and customer service. The intern will also help identify inappropriate claims, support cost estimates and reconciliation, and communicate warranty-related risks and resolutions.

Supports the Advanced Production Control and Logistics team by improving business strategy, documenting processes, redeploying RASIC charts, defining scopes of work, and analyzing SAP MRP parameters and metrics. The intern will communicate with stakeholders, prepare reports and business cases, recommend improvements to cost and delivery performance, and present a final project to senior leadership.

Supports the request-for-quote process, business plan development, supplier strategic planning, total available market analysis, and review of customer and market data to inform sales strategy. The intern works in person from the Troy, Michigan office and uses Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Automotive market knowledge and electronics product knowledge are preferred.

Develop and lead mechanical product designs for automotive electrical centers and related assemblies. Perform FEA, thermal, Moldflow, tolerance stack, DFMEA, validation, and DFM analyses. Coordinate with manufacturing, electrical, systems, testing, and project management teams to meet technical, cost, timing, and manufacturing requirements. Prepare design documentation, estimates, RFQs, validation plans, and customer presentations while supporting design reviews and vehicle or bench builds.

Prepares SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, with XBRL exhibits; interprets SEC and accounting requirements; reviews investor communications; supports audits and SOX compliance; improves reporting processes; and prepares financial statements for the Aptiv Foundation.

Manage automotive technology projects from award through end-of-life, overseeing plans, milestones, risks, staffing, budgets, customer communication, cross-functional coordination, reporting, and escalation. Partner with engineering, quality, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, product, and service teams to deliver OEM programs, support product roadmaps, coordinate regional workforce planning, and align forecasts with financial targets.

Own complex ADAS technical programs from feature decomposition and roadmap planning through deployment. Coordinate engineering, product, architecture, and vehicle teams; manage dependencies, milestones, resources, risks, scope changes, and customer deliverables. Use JIRA dashboards and sprint metrics to track progress and quality. Assess technical feasibility, lead issue resolution, maintain documentation and communication cadences, and ensure high-quality, on-time, at-cost product delivery.

Own and develop the roadmap for Advanced Safety products, including ADAS driving features, parking, mapping, localization, and turnkey systems. Define technical requirements, analyze markets and customer needs, build business cases, prioritize use cases, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, customers, and executives. Lead technical research, product strategy, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional efforts to deliver automotive software products.
