Software Engineering Interns contribute to high-priority technology projects across Nike, including web and mobile experiences, backend scalability and reliability, and product and consumer data analysis. Interns own scoped projects with guidance from senior leaders and managers, applying programming, testing, debugging, and software development fundamentals. The 10-week paid internship is conducted in person at Nike’s Beaverton, Oregon campus and includes relocation assistance.

Paid 10-week AI, data, and machine learning engineering internship. Interns will develop end-to-end data and AI/ML solutions, apply statistical and machine learning models, and contribute to projects involving incident resolution, computer vision, robotics, sustainability, and accessibility. Responsibilities include solution design, programming, debugging, testing, analysis, collaboration, and communicating technical concepts. Build cloud-native tooling for enterprise design applications: design, implement, and test software; define requirements with product and engineers; support production systems and resolve issues for end users and partner teams.

Leads extrusion process engineering for Nike Air components, serving as a technical SME and driving process design, validation, optimization, troubleshooting, standardization, and continuous improvement. Uses Lean Six Sigma, statistical analysis, digital tools, automation, and manufacturing data systems to improve quality, throughput, OEE, yield, equipment reliability, and cost performance. Establishes control plans, process specifications, validation packages, standard work, and engineering documentation while mentoring engineers and collaborating across quality, automation, product development, and manufacturing operations.

Partner with operations and procurement to manage logistics cost consolidation, forecasting, and reporting. Support monthly close, AOP/budget/forecast cycles, provide financial guidance to supply chain teams, analyze variances, and improve reporting accuracy using enterprise systems.

Lead the automation strategy and technology roadmap for a high-volume manufacturing hub. Identify and prioritize automation opportunities, scout emerging technologies, lead proof-of-concept initiatives, develop business cases and ROI analyses, and own production-intent system designs and deployment standards. Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, quality, EHS, and external technology providers to deliver scalable robotics, controls, material handling, inspection, packaging, and connected manufacturing solutions.

Leads Automation Engineers and Senior Automation Engineers supporting smart manufacturing initiatives. Builds engineering capability for automation deployment, validation, commissioning, go-live, and operationalization. Responsibilities include recruiting, coaching, resource planning, project prioritization, execution standards, talent pipelines, succession planning, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, process engineering, maintenance, quality, EHS, IT, and technology providers.

Lead graphic design direction for Jordan Energy across footwear, apparel, accessories, and lifestyle products. Develop seasonal graphic systems, cultural narratives, and product storytelling from concept through production. Present and defend creative work, manage multiple initiatives, collaborate with internal and external partners, and maintain brand integrity. Mentor designers, cultivate creative talent, and drive innovation across sport, streetwear, fashion, and emerging cultural communities.

Lead multidisciplinary concept design initiatives for Nike Global Design, translating creative strategy and big ideas into visual identities, art direction, storytelling, and immersive experiences. Collaborate with product, merchandising, brand, consumer insights, and agency teams; lead brainstorming, photoshoots, presentations, and creative execution. Manage multiple projects while shaping Nike’s visual language across graphics, typography, motion, spatial design, and AI.

Lead Nike’s long-range revenue and gross margin planning, owning margin models, planning cycles, segment targets, and executive-ready insights. Partner cross-functionally with Geography, Product, Marketplace, Supply Chain, and business planning teams to validate assumptions, quantify trade-offs, identify profitability opportunities, improve analytical tools, and influence senior leadership decisions supporting long-term profitable growth.
