Create CAD models and GD&T drawings, validate designs via calculations/FEA, collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and program teams, and provide technical support during testing and field operations.

Lead aerostructures strategy and execution for the X-BAT program, overseeing design, analysis, integration, testing, and certification of composite and metallic primary structures. Build and mentor multidisciplinary teams, drive manufacturability and production transitions, partner across disciplines (propulsion, avionics, autonomy, flight test), perform structural trade studies, root-cause analysis, and present technical recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

Lead design and execution of mechanical and structural test plans, build and operate hydraulic test fixtures, integrate and calibrate sensors, automate data collection and analysis with Python, produce technical reports, perform CAD design and collaborate across engineering teams to validate hardware performance.

Lead integration, verification, and flight testing of Hivemind autonomy on Group 5 ACP systems. Own test strategy and execute multi-phase SIL/HIL/simulation/ground/flight campaigns, manage test readiness, safety-of-flight, and risk decisions, coordinate OEMs, government customers, and cross-functional teams, and define mission-level performance metrics.

Perform electrical failure analysis on avionics hardware (PCBAs, harnesses, connectors), lead root-cause investigations using FA techniques (cross-sectioning, microscopy, X-ray), debug with lab tools, collaborate with design, reliability, manufacturing, and suppliers, and drive corrective actions to improve product and supplier quality.

Lead final system integration and production readiness for complex aerospace platforms. Develop and optimize assembly and integration processes, coordinate system-level builds and production flow, drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions, produce work instructions and quality standards, support validation and reliability efforts, transition products into manufacturing, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with production, quality, supply chain, and design teams.

Hands-on role integrating and flight-testing Hivemind autonomy across Group 1-3 aircraft. Responsibilities include bench and flight bring-up, debugging autonomy/flight controllers/radios, building test tools and automation in Python/C++, developing hardware interfaces, running SIL/HIL/VIL and live flight tests, analyzing data, and improving test infrastructure in collaboration with software, hardware, and flight teams.
