Join the Tampa office as a workers' compensation defense associate handling non-jury litigation that blends legal and medical issues. Work within a mentorship program to learn substantive law, trial tactics, case management, and client representation in a fast-paced defense practice.

Provide administrative legal support for insurance defense matters: heavy scheduling, organizing and maintaining discovery, communicating with experts, calendaring deadlines/hearings/mediations/appeals, preparing subpoenas and legal correspondence, and assisting with trial exhibit organization and trial preparation. Manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines while working independently and as part of a team.

Provide administrative legal support for litigation defense: scheduling, managing discovery, communicating with experts, calendaring deadlines, preparing subpoenas and correspondence, and trial exhibit organization and assistance.

Defend insurance liability claims (auto, premises, medical professional, product liability) as part of a trial team under a supervising partner. Litigate and prepare cases for trial, produce high-quality work, and manage multiple tasks under pressure. Must be licensed in Florida with insurance defense experience.

Coordinate and manage attorneys' calendars for hearings, depositions, mediations, and conferences. Handle heavy telephone scheduling, secure vendors (videographers, interpreters), perform e-filing/e-service, and maintain organization and time management. Support Workers' Compensation team; proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation preferred.
