Lead accounts payable operations including vendor relations, high-volume invoice processing, disbursements, 1099/tax compliance, internal controls, metrics reporting, SAP system oversight, and managing a team of 20+. Ensure month-end closings, reconciliations, and process improvements in an international/shared-services context.

Assist the CFO with financial reporting, management, transactions, and compliance (including supply chain compliance). Perform bank reconciliations, financial statement consolidation, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, audit support, debt monitoring, and purchase order oversight using Microsoft NAV and Excel.

Serve as the primary liaison between clients and insurance agents: answer client questions, manage policies, pre-fill applications, and provide high-touch client service to ensure timely, accurate processing.

Manage full-cycle recruiting: learn roles, source and screen candidates, schedule interviews, advise hiring managers, coordinate travel, and maintain applicant tracking and postings.

Administer payroll processes including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes; maintain payroll records; use payroll systems (ADP, Kronos, Workday, etc.); reconcile discrepancies and support HR with payroll inquiries to ensure compliance.

Support monthly close including sub-ledgers, journal entries, allocations, reconciliations and variance analysis. Prepare financial reports, budgets and analyses. Coordinate audit and tax requests and prepare schedules. Research GL transactions, drive process improvements, assist accounting system integrations, and manage/mentor accounting staff.

Lead and coach Agile/Scrum teams to maximize efficiency by facilitating ceremonies, managing product backlog and burndowns, tracking velocity and capacity, removing impediments, training stakeholders, and reporting status to management.

Process accounting transactions, prepare and review reconciliations, compile and analyze financial reports, maintain the general ledger, and provide accounting support to the Director of Accounting.

Support the Senior Accounting Manager by creating financial forecasts, accounting simulations, and budget/company financial analysis. Collaborate with Italian HQ accounting and controlling teams. Build management reports and spreadsheets using Excel and Access. Organize meetings and work under pressure to deliver accurate, detailed financial reporting.

Develop and maintain Python-based solutions and REST services for enterprise capital management. Build/refresh environments, develop and test algorithms, automate processes, and work with MS SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS and ETL tasks. Cross-train on DB/ETL work; collaborate on a global team within a banking environment.
