Maintain a consolidated demand plan and support monthly S&OP by preparing inputs, reviewing forecast changes, and highlighting risks. Monitor forecast accuracy and KPIs, analyze demand trends, support capacity planning and product allocation, coordinate across manufacturing sites, prepare executive reports, improve planning tools/processes, and collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers to mitigate constraints and prioritize products.

Support design, development, and integration of embedded software and FPGA for optical systems. Contribute to requirements and design documentation, implement and test software/FPGA designs, and assist senior engineers with integration, test plans, and system validation from hardware bring-up to final verification.

Lead development and optimization of single-crystal oxide Czochralski growth processes, define material and equipment specifications, design and procure furnaces, author SOPs and engineering drawings, support installation and qualification, troubleshoot growth and equipment issues, perform crystal characterization, and ensure safety and quality compliance.

Lead quality engineering on the manufacturing floor: investigate issues, implement SPC and statistical methods, lead root-cause investigations, develop PFMEAs/control plans/sampling plans, qualify materials and suppliers, support NPI and scale-up, and maintain ISO-based QMS compliance.

Design and develop LabVIEW and Python applications for assembly, alignment, calibration, and testing of laser systems; simulate/program robot arms; deploy vision and sensor metrology; collect/store test data; create test plans, schedules, cost estimates; support legacy software and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Lead technical assessment and incubation of advanced photonics technologies (light sources, heterogeneous integration, detectors, and optical I/O). Develop modeling, roadmaps, partner evaluations, and technical recommendations; coordinate cross-functional R&D and represent the company externally to transition concepts toward prototypes and projects.

Provide senior technical leadership for optical circuit switching and fiber-optic systems across R&D, validation, and production. Drive system architecture, test and automation strategy, root cause analysis, reliability support, and cross-functional execution to enable NPI and scale to volume manufacturing.

The role involves optimizing reactive magnetron sputtering processes, improving product quality, and developing manufacturing tools while collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams.

The R&D Engineer will prototype with advanced composite materials, program equipment, improve machining methods, and transfer products to manufacturing.
