JOB SUMMARY

Looking for a Production Engineer to work in and help improve/develop the LPE (Liquid Phase Epitaxy) process in our Easton, PA facility   

Shift: Mon-Fri (Day shift, timing TBD)

Must be prepared to train for about 6 to 8 months at our Hillsborough, NJ facility at the start of employment


KEY FUNCTIONS OF JOB

  • Help with all production tasks associated with the LPE process
  • Perform crystal growth analysis
  • Dumping/make new production melts
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues with LPE equipment
  • Assist with product improvement/development
  • Prepare and present technical reports 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s in Engineering
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Material Science Engineering

Experience:

  • Experience with CAD, Excel, Word, Access
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience handling chemicals and acids
  • Experience with precision measurement methods and systems
  • Experience working with fixtures, hand tools, and equipment controllers
