JOB SUMMARY
Looking for a Production Engineer to work in and help improve/develop the LPE (Liquid Phase Epitaxy) process in our Easton, PA facility
Shift: Mon-Fri (Day shift, timing TBD)
Must be prepared to train for about 6 to 8 months at our Hillsborough, NJ facility at the start of employment
KEY FUNCTIONS OF JOB
- Help with all production tasks associated with the LPE process
- Perform crystal growth analysis
- Dumping/make new production melts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues with LPE equipment
- Assist with product improvement/development
- Prepare and present technical reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s in Engineering
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical or Material Science Engineering
Experience:
- Experience with CAD, Excel, Word, Access
- Experience with both qualitative and quantitative data
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities
- Experience handling chemicals and acids
- Experience with precision measurement methods and systems
- Experience working with fixtures, hand tools, and equipment controllers
