Manage New Jersey workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include investigating claims, evaluating coverage and compensability, setting reserves, negotiating settlements, developing resolution strategies, preparing large-loss reports, collaborating with defense counsel and external resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation, analyzing claim trends, and communicating with stakeholders.

The AI Platform Engineer builds and operates an enterprise AI platform, focusing on core services for LLMs and RAG systems, automates onboarding processes, and ensures compliance and operational excellence within the platform team.

Handle daily ceded reinsurance claims (primarily asbestos, environmental, abuse): evaluate coverage, maintain claim diaries, bill and record cessions, respond to reinsurer requests, calculate net exposure, support accounting/collections, and participate in reviews and team projects.

Manage executive liability claim files: analyze coverage and liability, issue coverage opinions, develop litigation and resolution strategies, hire and oversee defense counsel, attend mediations/arbitrations, coordinate with underwriters/reinsurers, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage settlements, reserves, and timely claim payments.

Lead a team of ~15 claims professionals managing the most complex, high‑exposure casualty claims. Set claim and litigation strategy, oversee litigation counsel, ensure reserving discipline, drive consistency during system transitions (ClaimCenter), and develop team performance while partnering with senior leadership.

Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal specialty human services insurance accounts using company guidelines. Analyze risk data, order reports, set coverage/pricing/terms, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate decisions to agents and internal teams. Maintain relationships to generate and retain profitable business and stay current on industry trends.

Underwrite commercial surety accounts for the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region by analyzing financial statements, credit checks, and bank agreements; select and price risk, ensure guideline compliance, coach staff, build stakeholder relationships, and drive branch profitability while providing exceptional customer service.

Provide clerical and claims support for the Crop Claims department: review and index documents, set up and update claims files, enter data, locate policies and coverage, order reports, handle mail, answer phones, and perform general office duties.
