Leads engineering teams building and scaling Stripe’s financial products and platforms. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring engineers, shaping product strategy and technical roadmaps, collaborating cross-functionally, owning complex systems and processes, maintaining engineering standards, recruiting talent, and supporting career development. Own the vision and roadmap for Stripe’s identity and access management platform. Define access-granting experiences, agent authentication and authorization, least-privilege permissions, custom roles, secretless authentication, and human approval workflows. Partner with Dashboard, API Platform, Security, Payments, and Money Movement teams to ship experiments, analyze usage, and iterate. Conduct user research with founders, administrators, and developers while balancing usability, flexibility, and security at scale.

Lead a team of full-stack product and data engineers building personalized, high-converting checkout experiences. Drive experimentation, ML-powered optimization, data platform development, technical architecture, roadmap planning, incident response, cross-functional delivery, talent recruitment, and engineering team mentorship.

Manage enterprise customer accounts, deliver insights and support post-sale engagements to drive account health, retention, and growth.

Design and launch user-facing growth experiences that improve Stripe onboarding, acquisition, conversion, and retention. Partner with product, engineering, research, and leadership teams; conduct qualitative and quantitative research; interpret user metrics and A/B tests; create prototypes and product demos; and champion design principles across growth initiatives.

Identify and assess financial crime risks, conduct data-driven reviews and monitoring, redesign and scale compliance processes, advise stakeholders, ensure regulatory and partner requirements are met, and recommend process and policy improvements to mitigate emerging risks.

Build and enhance Stripe’s global corporate cash investment program, including investment strategies, policies, systems, operations, performance, and risk metrics. Monitor financial markets and macroeconomic trends; manage asset managers, custodians, and service providers; optimize interest income; develop investment observability tools and data insights; identify capital markets infrastructure needs; coordinate complex projects; and support the team’s long-term roadmap.

Manage technical relationships with financial partners, drive and deliver integrations, track partner SLAs and performance, coordinate cross-functional teams, and assist incident resolution to ensure partner success.

Own support ticket triage and routing, maintain data quality across Pylon, Slack, HubSpot, and related systems, create runbooks, improve support workflows, and coordinate escalations with Sales, Engineering, Product, Account Management, and Solutions teams. The role improves Developer Success efficiency and customer responsiveness through scalable internal processes and strong operational execution.

Embed with product teams to advise on compliance and financial-crimes risk, lead product governance, conduct product risk assessments, document and track regulatory requirements, support tooling and reporting, liaise with regional compliance officers, and leverage AI/agentic tools to scale compliance enablement.
