The Senior Application Engineer is responsible for pre-sales and post-sales support in semiconductor testing, project management, testing methodology, and customer training.

Act as control tower for material availability across contract manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners. Execute MRP, manage releases and replenishment, coordinate suppliers/CMs, lead exception recovery actions, run scenario analysis, maintain master data and KPIs, and support cross-functional planning and continuous improvement to balance service, inventory, cost, and risk.

The role involves supporting Digital Engineering initiatives, collaborating with R&D and other teams, analyzing workflows, and aiding in user adoption activities.

Manage supplier quality for electronic components across product lifecycles: supplier/part selection, auditing and qualification, QA processes, test strategy, performance control, change control and component risk reviews; develop component expertise and support technical contracting to ensure supply chain quality and reliability.

Design and develop manual and automated test cases (including AI features); build and optimize test automation frameworks and tools; collect/report metrics; work in CI with Jenkins; lead research and automation projects and collaborate with team to improve test coverage and quality.

Design and develop features for the SiConic semiconductor validation platform, implement and optimize test execution, DFT integration, and automation. Develop and debug test flows and integrate components, collaborate cross-functionally, troubleshoot software/hardware interfaces, contribute to architecture and prototypes, and support validation tooling and automation frameworks.

Provide technical leadership for Advantest V93000 semiconductor test systems: lead requirements analysis, design and validate test solutions, develop/convert test programs, coordinate resources, manage project plans, deliver customer training, and act as technical liaison to ensure successful implementations.

Develop and transition test methods for digital devices on the Advantest 93k/V93000 platform (ST7→ST8), debug SmarTest software, train customers, integrate products into customer environments, support pre-salesbenchmarks, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver solutions for high-performance compute customers. ~20% travel.
