Design and maintain Linux-based compute platforms for image and inspection products. Lead electrical design from requirements through manufacturing handoff. Design power distribution, temperature control, motion control/PID, and FPGA/EPLD systems. Use OrCAD/AutoCAD/PSpice and Xilinx/Altera tools, develop PLC firmware, run MATLAB/Python analysis, integrate and test prototypes, create documentation, coordinate suppliers, and manage projects to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
