Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communication strategies—including PR, digital marketing, external and internal communications events, employee engagement, and talent marketing—in alignment with KLA Corporate Communications guidelines and in collaboration with the global brand and communications team.
  • Manage and collaborate with PR agencies to create and localize content (e.g., website materials, press releases, marketing collateral) for Japan.
  • Advise and support local leadership on communication matters and messaging; serve as a brand ambassador within KLA Japan.
  • Monitor and report on local media coverage of the company’s activities.
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships to identify, monitor, and develop opportunities for KLA Japan.
  • Coordinate with agencies to maximize PR outcomes.
  • Act as a member of the KLA Asia Communications team, supporting regional initiatives.
  • Plan and manage local customer-facing events and seminars to ensure successful execution.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of professional experience in an agency or in-house communications role; experience in the technology industry preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
