Partner with sales teams and channel partners to discover business and technical needs, map challenges to Atlassian solutions, identify expansion opportunities, and deliver customized value-based demonstrations. Guide technical decision-making, build executive and technical stakeholder buy-in, document customer feedback and competitive intelligence, and collaborate with product management. Fluency in German and English is required.

Set technical direction, manage roadmaps and cross-team trade-offs, oversee reliability, incident readiness, capacity planning, and architecture decisions, and improve engineering execution. Hire, coach, and develop engineers and managers while translating organizational goals into measurable priorities and outcomes. Partner with senior technical, product, and platform stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, high-availability search capabilities.

Manage the full sales cycle for SMB accounts in Japan, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing. Build data-driven territory plans, achieve quota, conduct consultative discovery, and demonstrate Atlassian cloud solutions. Collaborate with partners, BDRs, marketing, product advocates, and customer success. Maintain Salesforce CRM hygiene, pipeline visibility, and accurate forecasts.
