Responsibilities include project planning, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, risk and quality management, change and transition planning, progress communication, user acceptance coordination, and post-launch handover. The role also supports service contract setup and requires frequent travel to customer premises.

Leads customer-facing implementation of the UMAX utility software solution. Translates business requirements into functional application solutions, manages expectations, conducts workshops, oversees testing and quality, owns assigned modules, identifies project risks, and collaborates with architects, developers, testers, project managers, and service delivery consultants. The role also contributes to solution evolution, knowledge transfer, and utility-market expertise while traveling to client sites as needed.

Develop and customize cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations applications for the UMAX utilities solution using X++. Responsibilities include implementing designs, building custom solutions, supporting project and service delivery work, serving as a technical reference, documenting development, and maintaining quality standards. The role requires object-oriented programming, SQL-based data manipulation, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with functional, technical, and project teams.

Tests UMAX software products and solutions through integration and system testing before release. Analyzes requirements, develops and executes test scenarios, reports progress, logs defects, and collaborates with functional, technical, and testing teams. The role also contributes to shared business and testing knowledge while ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and methodologies.

Interns join a UMAX product development team supporting water and energy utility software. They learn Scrum, ALM, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, X++, .NET, Angular, data modeling, technical design, backlog creation, unit testing, and bug fixing. The role is based in Ghent and offers mentoring, with potential for a permanent contract after completion.

Develop and extend scalable software solutions on Microsoft Dynamics 365 using X++, .NET, SQL, and Power Platform. Translate business needs into technical solutions, collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum teams, shape roadmaps, and support AI-assisted development. The role requires strong software engineering, architecture, communication, Agile collaboration, and product lifecycle skills, with a focus on quality, usability, reliability, and performance.

Supports business development by analyzing prospect needs, translating finance and billing requirements into UMAX solutions, configuring demonstrations, responding to RFPs, and leading discovery sessions and workshops. Provides finance domain expertise across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payments, and credit management. May also support customer projects through solution reviews and implementation guidance. Travel is required as needed.

Provides functional ownership for customer incidents and change requests, including SLA prioritization, root-cause analysis, functional design, testing, validation, escalation management, and release regression testing. Maintains knowledge bases, workarounds, and issue records while collaborating with functional and technical consultants. Requires ERP business application experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365, plus strong analytical, customer-facing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Implement and evolve the UMAX utility software solution by translating customer and business needs into clear product requirements. Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and R&D, manage requirements’ value and quality, refine Agile stories, align priorities, support Scrum delivery, and train stakeholders on new functionality. The role also involves customer expectation management, documentation, and shaping scalable solutions across the product portfolio.
