UMAX is the brand name of our software solution for water and energy utilities. It automates their business processes and enables them to better engage with their customers. UMAX is a cloud-based solution, built on the powerful Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you translate business needs into robust, scalable solutions to deliver high-quality software—today and as our product evolves.
- Build and extend solutions on the Microsoft stack (e.g., Dynamics 365, X++, Power Platform), integrating cleanly with surrounding systems.
- Accelerate delivery with AI-assisted development (e.g., Claude): prompt patterns, safe tool-use (MCP/connector layer), and team adoption.
- Be a key technical partner in the Scrum team: refine stories, de-risk solutions early, and drive a steady delivery cadence.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to shape roadmaps, trade-offs, and crisp functional/technical alignment.
- Must-have
- 5-10years of experience in software product development(X++ preferred, full-stack .NET otherwise), including SQL and modern engineering practices.
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field (computer science, engineering, applied sciences, …).
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English—able to distill complex technical topics into clear messages.
- Nice-to-have
- Experience with AI-assisted development (Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) and applying it responsibly in a team setting.
- Practical experience in Agile/Scrum teams and collaborating across disciplines (engineering, product, QA, ops).
- Strong understanding of architecture and application life cycle management in a product-first context (not one-off projects).
- Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365 Finance, Customer Insights, Power Platform) are a plus.
- An eye for UX and performance: you care about usability, reliability, and speed—not just features.

Skills Required
- 5-10 years of experience in software product development, preferably with X++; full-stack .NET experience may be accepted
