Lead and manage IN & VAS platform operations (IN/Charging, Ericsson CIS, USSD/SMS VAS, device management, CRBT). Ensure availability, reliability, resilience, KPI attainment, vendor-managed services, proactive monitoring, continuous service improvement, and 24x7 support while developing the application operations team.

Support identification, validation, and launch of new ICT and converged services opportunities. Conduct market research, size opportunities, maintain pipeline, coordinate POCs, prepare business cases and presentations, liaise with internal teams and partners, and track initiatives to meet revenue targets.

Lead wholesale and carrier strategy, negotiate roaming and interconnect agreements, manage partner relationships, ensure regulatory compliance and system interoperability (SS7/Diameter), oversee settlements, budgeting, and cross-functional project delivery to grow roaming and interconnect revenue.

Ensure fault-free operation and KPI compliance of MTN Uganda VAS platforms. Troubleshoot SMS/USSD faults, support Mobile Money integrations, configure USSD products, participate in platform upgrades, change requests, audits, and maintain ancillary VAS nodes (CRBT, MCA, voicemail, MSDP). Serve as second-level escalation and project resource for VAS operations.

Supervise and coordinate team leaders to ensure smooth inbound contact centre operations. Monitor performance, implement policies and HR operations, drive operational efficiency, coach staff, manage quality, participate in strategy and budgeting, and ensure workplace health and safety.

Support supplier performance and contract management end-to-end: track SLAs, evaluate performance, calculate penalties, maintain vendor master data, build supplier libraries, drive consequence management, collaborate with category, legal and Opco teams, support automation and continuous improvement, and contribute to Procurement Excellence CoE initiatives and sprint activities.
