Leads Operational Excellence across approximately 20 German sites, overseeing launches, continuous improvement, business process improvement, BI, WMS adoption, strategic PMO, budgets, and profitability initiatives. Partners with commercial teams on proposals, pricing, and new business acquisition. Ensures standardized implementations, KPI performance, operational compliance, change management, and HSEQ and security improvements. Requires extensive contract logistics experience, strong stakeholder and commercial skills, German and English fluency, and frequent regional travel.

Lead end-to-end operational launches for new customer contract logistics implementations and large-scale transformations across Europe. Manage readiness from design through deployment, stabilisation and BAU handover. Oversee teams of Launch Leads and Specialists, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, drive WMS/automation implementation, UAT/FAT/SAT, commissioning, risk and budget management, and continuous improvement to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget go-lives.

Lead day-to-day multi-customer warehouse operations, manage and develop team leaders, deliver KPIs for productivity/quality/service/cost, drive continuous improvement, oversee inventory and processes, and act as operational lead for customer relationships while collaborating with site functions.

The Application & Automation Developer will design, develop, and maintain applications, focusing on automation and REST API integrations, while managing SQL Server databases and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Designs and improves processes, equipment, layouts, and systems across logistics operations. Applies lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, value stream mapping, time studies, and error-proofing to improve efficiency, quality, space utilization, and labor productivity. Supports capital investments, facility installations, contractors, construction projects, and continuous improvement initiatives while tracking budgets and milestones. Requires collaboration across engineering and operational teams and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Coordinates organization-wide training and development activities, including needs analysis, annual training plans, internal and external programs, mandatory certifications, training records, reporting, budgets, audits, and quality compliance. Partners with HR, operational teams, global learning stakeholders, and external providers to ensure timely and effective training delivery.

Prepares financial reports, forecasts, budgets, cash flow analyses, and management information. Performs month-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and CAPEX reporting. Monitors financial performance, supports audits, collaborates with operational teams, and improves financial controls, reporting tools, and planning processes.

Manage export airfreight bookings and shipments from booking through delivery. Prepare air waybills, commercial and customs documentation; coordinate with customers, airlines, agents, trucking companies and internal teams; track milestones; provide quotations and updates; complete billing in CargoWise; maintain accurate records; ensure RACA, Customs, MPI and internal compliance; and identify process improvements.

Leads cross-functional business transformation initiatives from business case through implementation and benefits realization. Develops project plans, governance, budgets, milestones, RAID logs, and communications. Coordinates stakeholders across supply chain, technology, finance, HR, and operations; facilitates process and operating-model workshops; supports change management, training, and adoption; monitors risks, dependencies, KPIs, and project health; provides executive reporting; and embeds lessons learned and continuous-improvement practices.

Manages a strategic global technology customer account across contract logistics and freight forwarding. Serves as the primary operational contact, coordinates cross-functional delivery, monitors KPIs, supports renewals and new business, and drives onboarding, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Builds stakeholder relationships, identifies upselling and cross-selling opportunities, manages risks, and maintains customer satisfaction. International travel of up to 30% is required.
