Job Purpose
DP World is seeking an experienced Air Exports Officer to join our Global Freight team on a 12-month contract, based in Auckland, New Zealand. In this role, you will manage client export airfreight bookings and coordinate shipments from booking through to delivery, ensuring freight is processed accurately, efficiently and in line with customer and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with customers, airlines, trucking companies, agents and internal stakeholders to deliver a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage export airfreight bookings, shipment processing, freight dispatch and tracking
Prepare and process air waybills, commercial documentation and customs/regulatory documentation
Coordinate with customers, airlines, agents and transport providers to ensure shipments move efficiently and on time
Monitor shipment milestones, provide updates and prepare customer and agent quotations
Complete billing accurately and maintain up-to-date operational and financial records in CargoWise
Ensure compliance with RACA, Customs, MPI and internal requirements while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Experience in air freight export operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
Strong knowledge of air export processes, documentation and regulatory requirements
Experience using CargoWise or similar freight management systems
Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Strong communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to delivering results
