DP World are looking for a Operations Manager for our new multi-user operation Coventry 220 based in Segro Park. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fast-paced warehouse operation, inspire high-performing teams and play a key role in delivering exceptional service for multiple customers
About the role:
Lead the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused performance.
Manage and develop Team Leaders and Supervisors, creating an engaged and high-performing team.
Deliver operational KPIs across productivity, quality, service and cost.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance.
Monitor warehouse processes, inventory and administrative functions to ensure operational excellence.
Build strong relationships with customers and act as the operational lead for customer-related activities.
Work collaboratively with Quality, Health & Safety, Finance and wider site leadership teams.
Your Key Skills
Experience leading warehouse or contract logistics operations inan Operations Manager capacity
Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
Experience with new site/customer launches would be highly desireable
A passion for continuous improvement and delivering measurable results.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
A proactive, organised and collaborative approach with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
