The Cost Accountant is responsible for cost accounting tasks, including variance analysis, inventory accounting, and preparing financial reports. Responsibilities include month-end procedures, internal controls, and risk modeling for customer RFQs, along with ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.

Supports automotive product engineering through engineering change management, customer requirements reviews, BOM and drawing releases, DFMEA and test specification updates, prototype quoting and builds, validation testing, problem solving, IMDS submissions, and technical support for production plants.
