Owns product direction for Scale & Reliability and Platform Engineering, including reliability investments, internal developer platforms, capacity planning, incident management, observability, and real-time performance. The role sets strategy, prioritizes roadmaps, manages cross-functional programs, and balances velocity, cost, and resilience. It requires strong technical fluency in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, SLOs, and high-scale platform operations, along with credibility among senior engineering leaders.

Lead and grow Quo’s product design team while establishing management practices, performance cycles, career development, design critiques, and team operating rhythms. Coach designers, maintain a high craft and quality bar, represent design with Product and Engineering, contribute hands-on to designs and systems, and use AI tools in design practice. Partner with the Head of Design to define and uphold design standards.

Leads Quo’s fraud prevention and regulatory compliance strategy, including detection rules, review queues, investigations, policy enforcement, telecom regulations, and high-stakes case decisions. Manages fraud and compliance teams, external carrier partnerships, BPO or distributed operations, and cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Legal, Support, and Customer Success. Oversees compliance with TCPA, A2P 10DLC, SHAFT, STIR/SHAKEN, CCPA/CPRA, and state telecom requirements while driving operational improvements and regulatory readiness.

Own Quo’s billing, accounts and identity, and telecom compliance product domains. Lead metering, entitlements, invoicing, payment recovery, authentication, SSO, permissions, regulatory registration, fraud tooling, and deliverability systems. Build roadmaps, translate pricing into system behavior, partner with engineering on APIs and data models, and coordinate with finance, legal, security, and compliance stakeholders to deliver highly reliable systems.

Own core accounting activities including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, AP, AR, payroll accounting, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting. Manage payroll accounting across multiple countries, support audits, resolve discrepancies, and improve inefficient processes. Partner with FP&A, People Operations, and other teams while maintaining accurate multi-entity financial records.

Provides technical customer support through email, chat, phone, and text. Troubleshoots issues with engineering, maintains internal documentation, identifies process improvements, shares customer feedback with product teams, and surfaces growth or sales opportunities. The role requires empathy, strong written communication, technical aptitude, adaptability, and schedule flexibility, including occasional weekend work.

Lead and grow Quo’s mobile engineering team across iOS and Android. Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, people development, technical guidance, cross-functional collaboration, mobile architecture and tooling alignment, feature delivery, and improving reliability and quality. The manager will establish scalable mobile engineering practices while supporting product initiatives involving AI, revenue management, and task management.

Lead technical strategy and architecture for backend systems, drive cross-functional delivery from prototype to production, improve cost/performance/reliability/security, mentor engineers, and translate AI and emerging tech into actionable roadmaps.

Build, architect, and own moderate-to-complex backend components; lead small teams or projects; provide technical guidance and code reviews; deliver end-to-end backend services focused on AI-enabled customer data insights, onboarding, messaging/calling features, and scalable data management for a growing user base.
