Lead platform engineering initiatives and provide architectural direction for internal developer platforms, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and cloud-native infrastructure. Own revenue accounting and marketplace operations, month-end close, ASC 606 treatment, contract modifications, reconciliations, revenue recognition rules, audit schedules, and financial reporting. Partner with Deal Desk, FP&A, Strategy Operations, and Business Applications to resolve accounting issues and improve Quote-to-Cash systems. Lead automation and reporting initiatives using NetSuite, Salesforce, Zone Billing, Sigma, Claude, and related AI tools.

Leads monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across a multi-entity organization; prepares journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and GAAP reporting. Manages treasury operations, banking relationships, cash forecasting, tax compliance, audits, consolidations, and subsidiary support. Develops accounting policies, strengthens internal controls, researches technical accounting matters, and improves processes and systems while collaborating with internal teams, auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.

Own the full mid-market sales cycle for Zapier’s AI-powered automation platform, including prospecting, discovery, negotiation, closing, and expansion. Build relationships from practitioners to executives, develop business cases around automation, and navigate complex deals with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product. The role also involves attending events, generating pipeline independently, and helping establish Zapier’s mid-market go-to-market motion.

Manage the full-cycle, high-volume accounts payable process, including invoice processing, three-way matching, GL and cost-center coding, vendor payments, reimbursements, reconciliations, accruals, aging reports, vendor maintenance, and audit support. Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries while supporting manufacturing procurement and month-end close. The role uses NetSuite, Ramp, Mercury, Rippling, and Excel in a fast-paced defense hardware startup.
