The Project Engineer evaluates engineering designs, resolves project issues, coordinates contractors and project teams, supports equipment sourcing, manages change requests, and ensures work scopes meet specifications, schedules, budgets, and project objectives. The role coordinates project-management deliverables, facilitates transitions between project stages, leads application of project systems, and serves as backup to the Project Manager. Experience in engineering, construction, project management, project controls, facilities, oil and gas, and project execution is required.

Own the outward-facing product narrative for Sapio’s lab informatics platform, including positioning, messaging, demonstrations, and go-to-market strategy. Engage prospective customers, partners, executives, and industry audiences while translating ELN, LIMS, and CMC workflows into compelling value propositions. Partner with product, sales, marketing, and leadership teams on customer insights, RFPs, proof-of-concepts, conferences, webinars, and strategic account support. Bring deep life sciences software knowledge, strong product marketing instincts, and executive-level communication skills.

Lead copywriting and creative development across product and brand marketing. Create and edit copy for digital channels, campaigns, and communications while maintaining brand voice and consistency. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams, use performance data to optimize messaging, monitor industry trends, and influence cross-functional initiatives.

Support annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, variance and KPI analysis, Board/investor reporting, client profitability, and ad-hoc scenario modeling to inform financial decisions across business units.

Close $1M in net-new bookings by selling AI transformation to CEO-led buying committees. Generate outbound pipeline, co-sell initially with the founder, then independently close complex mid-market deals. Build a repeatable sales playbook covering ICP, discovery, multi-threading, pricing, objections, and close plans. Feed deal insights into company packaging and pricing, with a path to build and lead the future sales team.

Supports the Vegetable Sales Division by entering and confirming customer orders, shipments, pricing, and receipts in ERP systems. Maintains customer orders, pricing sheets, and confirmations; investigates discrepancies with customers and internal teams; provides sales, accounting, reporting, and administrative support; and assists with accounts receivable, accounts payable, records, and special projects.

Processes customer sales orders, purchase orders, material transfers, shipment paperwork, and order acknowledgements. Communicates with customers and suppliers regarding delivery dates and updates, maintains customer and vendor records, and supports order fulfillment issue resolution. The role requires accurate data entry, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, strong communication, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Leads and coaches a Tier 1 software support team while personally handling tickets, chats, and calls. Owns quality assurance, real-time coaching, escalations, queue management, SLA performance, 1:1s, onboarding, and performance feedback. Identifies support trends and customer pain points, maintains clear documentation, and escalates reproducible issues to Tier 2. Requires strong SaaS support experience, leadership ability, communication skills, and high-volume customer service expertise.

Plans and improves manufacturing processes, troubleshoots production issues, analyzes operational data, leads engineering and capital projects, implements corrective actions, maintains process documentation, supports lean efficiency improvements, writes technical reports, and provides technical guidance and training to manufacturing personnel.

Lead end-to-end UX for web and mobile products: create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs; run user research and usability testing; maintain design systems; use data to drive decisions; collaborate with PMs and developers; and mentor junior designers to improve product experiences.

Owns defined product features and workflows from discovery through launch and post-launch improvement. Creates product artifacts, partners with engineering and design, uses customer feedback and analytics to prioritize work, prepares launch plans, monitors adoption and quality, and maintains roadmap and backlog hygiene. The role also develops expertise in benefits administration, SaaS, compliance constraints, and cross-functional product delivery.

Lead end-to-end payroll data integration implementations during client onboarding. Gather requirements from clients and payroll vendors, configure and test inbound and outbound payroll files, document file layouts and mappings, manage risks and timelines across multiple projects, and coordinate quality assurance, defect resolution, and handoff to ongoing operations. Serve as the primary implementation contact while delivering clear communication and technical documentation.
