Leads Grainger’s enterprise Application and Product Security program, strategy, governance, and technical security organization. Establishes secure software development lifecycle standards, secure-by-design practices, application security testing, API and supply chain security, and DevSecOps capabilities. Partners with engineering, product, architecture, and security leaders to integrate security into software delivery, prioritize risk remediation, support AI-enabled development, and improve security metrics. Develops security talent, champions secure coding, and represents the function in executive governance forums.

Designs and operates scalable batch and streaming data pipelines and AI-ready data products across Databricks, Snowflake, Kubernetes, and cloud services. Develops governed data assets, semantic models, search and retrieval capabilities, and data quality processes. Use Salesforce daily to understand customer goals, respond to changing needs, address objections, and grow profitable revenue. Travel to assigned customers at least monthly.

Manage approximately three commercial customer accounts, driving sales growth across an assigned geography or vertical market. Build account penetration strategies, conduct business reviews, understand customer goals, provide solutions, oversee managed inventory support, and respond to changing needs. Use Salesforce CRM for daily business activities, sales forecasting, opportunity management, customer planning, and pipeline development. Travel to each assigned customer at least monthly.

Manage and grow sales across designated government and primarily military accounts, including Air Force bases in the Raleigh area. Build account strategies, conduct business reviews, identify customer needs, manage inventory support, develop new opportunities, forecast sales, and explain Grainger’s value proposition. Maintain customer relationships, address objections, comply with pricing guidelines, and use market and financial insights to increase profitable revenue.

Manage and grow sales within designated healthcare accounts by developing account strategies, conducting business reviews, identifying customer needs, and delivering Grainger solutions. The role supports managed inventory activities, builds customer relationships, analyzes market and customer data, manages sales pipelines, addresses objections, and ensures compliance with sales and pricing guidelines. The position requires field engagement with customers four to five days per week, primarily in St. Louis.

Manages approximately 85 existing business customers within an assigned territory, building relationships, identifying opportunities, presenting MRO products and services, growing sales, negotiating deals, maintaining a pipeline, and documenting activities in a CRM. The role is primarily field-based with frequent customer-site visits and occasional overnight travel.
