Compensation
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position remote is $95,900.00 - $159,800.00. For Chicago location the range for this position are $103,600 - $172,600. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 % or $ , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details:
Infrastructure Engineers ensure that the IT infrastructure is sufficiently, and efficient to provide the integrated services underlying the physical environment that supports the processes, physical resources, and operators required for developing, integrating, operating, and sustaining IT applications and support services. They build, implement, configure, tune and support the IT infrastructure in the cloud and on-premises, to include the server platforms, storage systems, middleware infrastructure, network, and client technologies. They pursue the physical design, implementation, and support of major automation solutions in a multiplatform environment, make recommendations for improvements to the usability of automated tools, and identify opportunities for increased adoption of orchestration technologies.
You Will:
- Build and Configure Hybrid IT systems: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems. Help integrate services across cloud and data center. Contributed to the prioritization of requirements and matching of resources with requirements.
- Automation: Helps design automated workflows and provides training to other engineers. Help with business case justification for automation efforts. Establish frameworks to increase automation and CI/CD deployment activities. Support DevOps activities.
- Scripting: grows complex scripts to automate repetitive tasks and support automated workflows
- Configuration Management: Establish baselines and configuration control. Review CMDB and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Infrastructure standards: Review and enforce standards for infrastructure solutions. Help create new ways of solving existing issues and improving existing practices.
- Monitoring: Develop Service level agreements and establish alert thresholds
- Documentation: Document new or modified infrastructure solutions, test activities /results, and workflows
- Escalated support for SAP Applications related to Basis role after onboarding period of 3 months.
You Have:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, management, or related field.
Strong debugging/resolution skills.
Experience Managing SAP workloads on Cloud, preferably AWS.
At least 5 years of experience supporting 24x7 important enterprise applications including SAP ECC, APO, GTS, GRC, Portal, EWM, SOLMAN, PI/PO, BOBJ, BODS, S/4 HANA, and HANA database.
Experience building and managing Infrastructure and configuration as code.
Expertise in Ansible, Terraform and GitHub.
Linux OS (SUSE or RHEL) experience.
Experience implementing an ERP Application.
Experience with upgrades, installations, and patching (HANA patching, support packs and kernel patches).
Experience automating repetitive system administration tasks using automation scripts and tools.
Experience with system optimization and tuning for performance.
Experience with escalated support for SAP Applications related to Basis role.
