Quality Engineer responsible for monitoring and improving product and process quality in an aerospace electronics manufacturing environment. Duties include analyzing production data, leading root cause and corrective actions, managing quality control systems, supporting audits and reliability testing, approving engineering and manufacturing changes, developing sampling procedures, and driving AS9145 APQP implementation and continuous improvement. The role requires collaboration with engineering, operations, suppliers, customers, and auditors.

Plans and schedules aerospace manufacturing production, creates and maintains Oracle ERP work orders and MRP data, coordinates materials and resources, expedites shortages, analyzes capacity, and revises schedules to address production disruptions. Produces risk, delivery, and work-in-process reports while collaborating with operations, procurement, engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support on-time delivery and improve production flow through Lean, Kanban, and MRP practices.

Perform quality monitoring and control for aerospace components: collect and analyze production data, lead root-cause investigations, implement corrective actions, maintain quality systems (Control Plans, PFMEAs, PFDs), support audits, qualify process/product changes, and provide failure analysis and reliability testing support.

Manage and grow OEM integrator accounts for pump products, develop new OEM relationships, lead technical and commercial discussions, influence product development, provide market intelligence, maintain forecasts, and travel ~15–20%.

Designs, develops, and supports automated test equipment and data acquisition systems for aerospace products. Plans and executes test procedures, root-cause analyses, and documentation. Collaborates with engineering, quality, and production to meet requirements, mentors junior engineers, and improves manufacturing test processes. Programs test systems (LabVIEW/TestStand/C#/Python), creates schematics and wiring, and ensures configuration control in a regulated environment.
