Develop, implement, and test Battle Manager software for the GMD Fire Control system. Contribute to requirements and test case reviews, write and maintain code (C++/Java/Ada/Python) on Linux, and support CI/CD and DevSecOps toolchains. Work is on-site in a closed area, requires up to 10% travel, and an active DoD Secret clearance to start.

Develop, modify, and maintain real-time embedded operational flight programs across the full software lifecycle. Participate in requirements, design, unit to system testing, integration, release, and maintenance. Collaborate with program management, suppliers, and government customers; provide technical leadership and perform software/hardware integration and testing for EW/radar systems.

Support mission assurance for the GBSD Sentinel program: perform technical reviews, ensure quality, safety, reliability, risk management, develop and maintain quality/mission assurance plans and metrics, support FRBs and corrective actions, assist Program Quality Managers, and manage conditional acceptance and closure of corrective actions.

Lead systems engineering for Support Equipment on the Sentinel program: perform MBSE-based architecture, integration, verification/validation, lifecycle analyses, requirements development and traceability, SE technical review criteria, and provide consulting to the Chief Engineer.

Provide in-person executive administrative support including calendar, travel and expense management, purchasing and catering coordination, conference room and parking management, briefing package preparation, cross-team collaboration, ad-hoc requests, and occasional backfill for other directors.

Design, develop, and deploy mechanical systems and launch-equipment hardware for the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Create CAD models and 3D drawings, perform stress and dynamic analyses, verify designs via simulation and testing, produce design documents, support lifecycle phases, mentor junior engineers, and present technical status to customers and stakeholders.

Manage and improve logistics processes to ensure timely flow of goods, services, and information. Develop and deliver maintenance training, create and sustain training materials and records, analyze training needs, support divisions with qualification systems, and build customer logistics relationships within financial and safety constraints.

Manage procurement for services, specialized materials, and equipment: prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, negotiate and administer subcontracts, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor supplier quality and delivery, and support supplier development and invoice/funding coordination.

Support integration and test of the Forward Area Air Defense (FAAD) software system: develop and execute system test threads, analyze interface/function problems, document issues, present results to management and government, and support worldwide integration events. Travel up to 25% and a DoD Secret clearance (or eligibility) is required.

Lead systems engineering for the Sentinel program: develop and maintain design review procedures and tracking tools, drive requirements development/review (DOORS), collaborate across disciplines, facilitate design reviews, incorporate lessons learned, and support complex system development and verification activities.
