Supports the Service Sales team by reviewing sales performance, observing sales processes, researching market and competitor trends, preparing presentations and proposals, and participating in sales meetings and training. The intern will gain hands-on experience in service sales and business development while contributing to growth initiatives and producing detail-oriented, high-quality work.

Supports DC power data center product strategy through market and competitive research, portfolio performance and profitability analysis, business case development, roadmap planning, customer research, pricing analysis, and executive presentations. The intern contributes to growth initiatives, new technology evaluations, product positioning, commercial launch planning, portfolio lifecycle management, and strategic recommendations for Vertiv’s global technology portfolio.

Design and release custom busbar assemblies and tap-off boxes using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Create 2D and 3D models, bills of materials, manufacturing instructions, and technical documentation. Collaborate with project management, manufacturing, and technical teams on engineered-to-order designs, trial runs, production release, and shop-floor issue resolution. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements while participating in peer reviews and design improvements.

Develop and maintain supply plans for the Power Management business within monthly SIOP cycles. Translate demand into production and material requirements, monitor inventory health, lead supply reviews, address capacity and material constraints, and coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, finance, suppliers, and factories. Support new product introductions and transitions, report supply and inventory metrics, align planning assumptions with budgets and forecasts, and improve planning processes and systems.

Lead execution of engineered-to-order data center projects for low-voltage power distribution. Manage scope, schedule, design reviews, code compliance (NEC/IEEE/UL), cross-functional coordination, design package ownership, ERP/BOM tracking, change orders, risk resolution, and project performance reporting.

Design electrical power distribution and control systems for low-voltage switchgear. Create schematics, single-line diagrams, BOMs, control wiring, and test scripts. Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and project teams, ensure NEC/UL compliance, mentor junior staff, and support multiple projects.

Lead and manage an electrical design team delivering low-voltage power distribution designs for large data center projects. Oversee design reviews, code compliance, cross-discipline coordination, schedules, risk assessments, QA, mentorship, client collaboration, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement to ensure projects meet standards, budget, and deadlines.

Designs, develops, tests, and launches busway and power distribution products. Performs electrical calculations, thermal and short-circuit analysis, simulations, prototyping, certification testing, and technical documentation. Coordinates with mechanical engineers, suppliers, third-party laboratories, and customers to resolve field issues. Supports product risk assessments, engineering changes, compliance with UL and IEC standards, and development of electrical specifications, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Own and scale a global project-based fluid management service for high-density data centers: define SOWs, technical standards, pricing, partner models, deployment playbooks, training, and performance metrics to ensure commissioning readiness, uptime, and lifecycle reliability across regions.

Design and produce detailed manufacturing drawings and 3D/2D CAD models for medium-voltage switchgear. Conduct design reviews, coordinate with project teams, track BOM changes, ensure drawing accuracy and on-time deliverables, and support continuous improvement in an ETO/custom fabrication environment.
