Selects electrical and mechanical components for UPS and power distribution products, interfaces with suppliers, creates or revises specifications, schematics, drawings, assemblies, and harnesses, and ensures UL, CE, and NEC compliance. Releases design changes through PLM engineering change orders, identifies value-analysis opportunities, strengthens supply chains, and supports field issue resolution. The role requires cross-functional collaboration, complex problem solving, and effective management of multiple project activities.

Manages day-to-day service center administration, including order entry, invoicing, billing, collections support, forecasting, financial reporting, project data, work orders, expense tracking, and client submissions. Support embedded firmware and control algorithm development for UPS power conversion systems. Model and simulate converters in MATLAB and Simulink, implement digital controls on DSPs or microcontrollers, and perform Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing. Develop test cases, compare simulation and hardware results, debug power electronics hardware, analyze fault conditions, and document findings while collaborating with firmware, hardware, controls, and test engineers.

Drive end-to-end verification and validation for single-phase UPS products, including firmware, hardware, integration, system, compliance, reliability, and automation testing. Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, procedures, reports, and requirements traceability. Manage lab testing schedules, equipment capital projects, defect root-cause analysis, certification support, and continuous improvements. Collaborate with global stakeholders and maintain a safe, organized testing laboratory.

Develops and maintains system-level mechanical and thermal architecture requirements for IT infrastructure products. Reviews mechanical layouts, 3D models, assemblies, and thermal integration for compatibility, serviceability, manufacturability, and interoperability. Establishes standards and architectural guidance across business units, supports air- and liquid-cooling technologies, interprets thermal simulation results, and translates lessons learned into reusable engineering practices. Collaborates cross-functionally, manages multiple projects, and evaluates emerging data center technologies and materials.

Lead full-cycle recruiting for salaried manufacturing, operations, procurement, engineering, materials planning, buying, and supply chain roles. Partner with plant leaders and hiring managers across multiple sites, source specialized and passive talent, manage candidate experience, and use recruiting metrics and labor-market insights to improve hiring outcomes. Advise stakeholders on talent trends, compensation, candidate quality, and hiring decisions while supporting talent acquisition programs and process improvements.

Drive regional revenue growth for Vertiv rack solutions through channel partners, distributors, and direct end-user engagement. Build territory plans, manage pipeline in CRM, conduct site walks and solution scoping, develop partner capability, influence IT/facilities/procurement decision makers, and coordinate with internal sales, SE, and distribution teams. Track pricing, forecasting, and competitive feedback while supporting trade shows and ensuring post-sales customer satisfaction.
