Originates FHA, VA, conventional, and other residential mortgage loans by assessing applicants’ financial information, determining creditworthiness, recommending suitable products, negotiating terms, and issuing prequalification decisions. Develops mortgage business through customers, Realtors, builders, and community outreach. Ensures compliance with SAFE Act registration, bank policies, lending regulations, and mortgage requirements while monitoring market and regulatory developments.

Partners with sales, legal, risk, compliance, counsel, financial advisors, and service providers to structure and close transactions, retain and expand accounts, identify fee opportunities, and support departmental projects. May mentor associates and assist with product and process development.
