Responsible for investment accounting close activities, preparation of financial documents, portfolio activity review, leading projects, and supporting audits and new system implementation.

Process and investigate annuity claims, communicate with beneficiaries, agents and medical providers, identify questionable or fraudulent claims for escalation, prepare correspondence, and ensure regulatory and company compliance.

Own go-to-market strategies for annuity products, translating complex product and market insights into positioning, messaging, sales enablement, digital resources and training. Partner cross-functionally to support launches and enhancements, use data and customer insights to inform recommendations, and leverage automation and AI to accelerate content and improve marketing effectiveness.

Configure, develop, test, and deploy annuity product rules and workflows within ALIP and related systems. Translate business requirements into technical solutions, use Agile/DevOps tools, automate processes, partner with Product/QA/Operations, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in code reviews and continuous improvement.

Lead the design and delivery of an AI-native, event-driven platform. Responsibilities include ensuring system reliability, mentoring engineers, and adopting AI-driven development practices.

Lead the strategy, delivery, and operations of the Appian platform, ensuring secure, scalable solutions while managing teams and collaborating across departments.

Prepare and analyze SEC 10-Q and 10-K financial statements and disclosures, perform US GAAP accounting and consolidation work, research complex accounting issues, coordinate with stakeholders, support audits, and ensure SEC and GAAP compliance.

Partner with the Treasury COO to drive strategy, execution enablement, AI adoption, process and controls improvements, stakeholder coordination, and data/dashboard initiatives. Produce leadership materials, track priorities, support budgeting and transformation projects, prototype AI/no-code solutions, and facilitate cross-finance alignment and communications.

Support analysis, documentation, and communication of business and technical requirements for workflow systems. Work with product owners, stakeholders, and IT to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional artifacts. Facilitate workshops, identify process improvements, support implementation, and provide production analysis for system defects while building foundational BA skills.
