Designs cloud and AI solutions for key customers by translating business needs into technical requirements, leading architecture discussions, and collaborating with sales, product, engineering, and customers. The role requires expertise in optical, DWDM, long-haul, metro, access, mobile backhaul, and fronthaul systems, along with strong communication and presentation skills.

Develop algorithms and test methodologies for photonic integrated circuits, run engineering and prototype tests, analyze test data using JMP and Excel, create high-volume production test processes, and troubleshoot hardware and software integration. The role requires programming, test automation, statistical analysis, test instrument experience, and familiarity with optoelectronic devices. This is a full-time, four-month onsite cooperative role in Sunnyvale, California.

Leads the design and development of high-speed analog, RF, and mixed-signal ICs for coherent optical and PAM4 communication systems. Responsibilities include transistor-level architecture, circuit design, layout, silicon bring-up, characterization, RF wafer probing, specification development, design reviews, and collaboration with product engineering and optical systems teams. Provides technical guidance and mentorship while developing solutions using SiGe BiCMOS and CMOS processes.

Leads Nokia’s Americas AI and Cloud technology strategy across IP and optical networking, AI infrastructure, photonics, data center interconnects, and automation. Shapes architecture vision, investment priorities, product roadmaps, partnerships, and market positioning while advising hyperscalers, cloud providers, and infrastructure leaders. Engages executives and technical decision-makers, facilitates architecture workshops, identifies emerging opportunities, and translates complex technology trends into customer value, business strategy, and new offerings. Mentors technical leaders and supports strategic ecosystem development.

Manage customer order fulfillment and supply chain operations for hyperscale customers. Coordinate demand and supply planning, S&OP alignment, logistics execution, delivery schedules, allocation during shortages, revenue forecasting, escalation management, and risk mitigation. The role improves predictability, fulfillment, profitability, and service quality while partnering with sales, product lifecycle management, business controllers, supply chain teams, and customers.

Develop mechanical designs for opto-electronic devices using CREO and AutoCAD. Perform thermal, thermo-mechanical, and mechanical FEA in ANSYS, conduct FMEAs and tolerance analyses, and manage part revisions. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and vendors to validate specifications, improve manufacturability, and address complex engineering challenges in an in-person telecommunications technology environment.
