Leads global technical development of automotive semiconductor components for radar, electrification, and powertrain applications. Translates product needs into component requirements, supports RFQs and sourcing, evaluates supplier roadmaps, coordinates component development through PPAP, approves technical deliverables, and supports post-launch PCN and EOL activities. Partners with project, purchasing, quality, platform, application, supplier, and customer teams, with limited domestic and international travel.

Leads technical component development for automotive radar, powertrain, and electrification products from supplier roadmap definition and sourcing through PPAP and post-launch support. Translates project needs into requirements and RFQs, evaluates supplier responses, guides component selection, coordinates internal teams, approves technical deliverables, manages PCNs and SREAs, and supports component integration. Requires semiconductor and electronics development expertise, supplier collaboration, and limited domestic or international travel.

Lead and optimize high-pressure die casting operations: apply statistical methods and DOE, design runners and cooling, sample tooling, analyze scrap and cycle times, document and control process parameters, manage suppliers and equipment, and support continuous improvement on the plant floor.

Lead automotive manufacturing programs from quotation through launch and production support. Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage APQP/PPAP activities, tooling and supplier readiness, control budgets, mitigate launch risks, ensure quality/IATF compliance, and serve as primary customer contact for program status and change management.

Manage design, build, and maintenance of high-pressure die cast and trim tooling for production and prototypes. Design dies, cooling, vacuum and sealing systems; use 3D FEA, flow and solidification analysis; perform dimensional/GD&T analysis and root-cause resolution. Oversee tool builds, tooling PM, and collaborate with machining and tool room to optimize casting yield, uptime, and tooling life.

Manage and improve supplier quality for seating components: lead supplier audits, advanced quality planning, PPAP/ISIR release, launch support, problem-solving (8D), metrics, and cross-site collaboration to ensure parts meet BMW/Magna specifications through SOP.

Serve as primary liaison with assigned customers to resolve quality concerns, maintain and improve quality management systems (IATF/VDA), lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions, support audits and customer activities, drive cross-functional continuous improvement, and develop quality metrics and reporting to ensure customer satisfaction.

Serve as North America liaison between Global IT and Exteriors Group divisions. Develop and execute regional IT strategy, drive standards adoption, manage regional IT demand, oversee programs and projects (including MES/ERP), ensure compliance (SOX/security), control budgets and licenses, recruit/develop divisional IT managers, and support business continuity and performance measurement. Requires frequent travel to divisions.

Design and integrate real-time automotive systems with focus on high-performance SoC architectures. Lead hardware/software architecture, high-speed interfaces, sensor selection for ADAS, safety/security per ISO 26262/21434, DFMEA/FTA analysis, and cross-functional integration to deliver fail-operational vehicle systems.

Lead hands-on development and delivery of ADAS ECU embedded software from concept to production. Design, implement, test, and debug software, define architecture, manage software schedules, releases, risks, and mentor the software team while coordinating with engineering and manufacturing.
