The Principal System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating complex real-time automotive systems focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip.
Your Responsibilities
- Expert in System hardware and software architecture focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip (SoC).
- Expert in high-speed communication pipelines like Multi-Gig Ethernet, PCIe, LPDDR4/5
- Experts in sensor selection & system Integration architecture for ADAS systems.
- Proficient in System (Hardware, Software) documentation architecture and requirements.
- Expert in Architecture optimization to apply cost-effective solutions with improved performance design.
- Architecture Experience in implementing safety and security mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.
- Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Fault Tree (FTA) techniques for systems and components.
- In-depth understanding of vehicle feature interactions, including Automated Driving, Infotainment, and Mechatronic Control Systems.
- Expertise in integrating, troubleshooting, and analyzing vehicle control sub-systems to deliver next-generation fail-operational systems.
- Collaborating with hardware, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration into the overall product.
- Expert in communication and negotiation with customers and suppliers.
Who we are looking for
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills (Master’s preferred)
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years deep and relevant experience in the System hardware and software architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in high-performance computing systems-on-chip.
- Proven track record of successful launches of automotive products
Your preferred qualifications
- Deep and comprehensive knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive field
- Deep knowledge of the automotive software development process, experience with SOC a plus
- Demonstrated decision making capability with a strong technical background
- Hands on approach when required
- Strong technical background. Understands needs of systems, optics, electrical, mechanical and software engineers for successful product execution
- Comprehensive working knowledge of configuration management, project planning, monitoring and control techniques (PMP certification a plus)
- Able to lead and motivate a diverse, global team
- Able to represent technical topics internally and externally
- Excellent communication skills to all internal and external interfaces
- Travel (domestic and international) may be needed
- Positive attitude and self-motivated under all working conditions (thrives under pressure)
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
- Comprehensive knowledge of English
