Leads a team of 10–15 technical quoting professionals supporting commercial operations. Oversees proposal quality, pricing, margins, process compliance, talent development, workload optimization, continuous improvement, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Operations. Drives faster proposal cycles, improved win rates, customer experience, and effective use of commercial tools and systems. Requires strong commercial, financial, leadership, analytical, communication, and technical industry expertise, with moderate travel.

Performs accounting and month-end close activities under US GAAP, including journal entries, general ledger analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset support, quarterly reporting, and SOX compliance. Collaborates with site personnel and business service center stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve processes. Requires strong analytical, communication, Excel, ERP, and problem-solving skills.

Prepare and review U.S. international tax compliance and quarterly ASC 740 calculations (GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, FTC, 245A DRD). Oversee preparation of international tax forms, maintain compliance trackers and tax attributes, analyze foreign distributions and uncertain tax positions (FIN48), support auditors, model tax-planning scenarios, research legislative changes, and streamline processes with shared service center coordination.

Lead and supervise the Order Engineering team to review customer specifications and purchase orders, coordinate change orders, maintain the product configurator, resolve order-related issues, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely factory execution and shipment of electric actuator orders.

Lead customer-facing quotation and technical review for complex actuator projects. Size actuators, prepare technical quotes, coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing, perform cost and margin analysis, review purchase orders for compliance, and support customer technical issues to meet financial and operational goals.

Lead U.S. and Canadian corporate tax compliance and ASC 740 tax accounting for North America. Oversee consolidated Form 1120 filings, state returns, ASC 740 provisions, tax information reporting, audits, and tax process improvements. Manage and mentor an Irving-based team and drive tax technology initiatives with CorpTax and SAP systems.

The Certification Engineer acts as a liaison with certifying agencies, manages certification projects, conducts audits, provides training, and supports engineering and sales teams with certification requirements.

Manage a $3M–$4M book of business in Corpus Christi, acting as the technical and commercial lead for refinery and chemical plant customers. Provide on-site account management, solution-based selling, proposals, repair coordination, warranty resolution, and cross-functional alignment with application engineers and service centers.

Drive bookings and manage key customer relationships for rotating equipment. Develop marketing plans, deliver product demonstrations, coordinate with internal teams, handle proposals/repairs/claims, maintain records, and support solution-selling with financial justification. Perform site visits and occasional physical tasks.

Design and support engineered-to-order control valve solutions for severe-service and high-pressure applications. Create 3D models, drawings, BOMs, and analyses; collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and sales; lead sustaining and new product development; mentor engineers; perform testing and validation; provide technical support and present progress to senior leadership. Travel ~10%.
