Serves as a strategic HR advisor and trusted partner to business leaders across multiple sites. Supports regulatory counsel by researching healthcare laws, drafting and revising legal documents and policies, preparing compliance training, addressing regulatory questions, managing projects and contracting resources, monitoring field compliance, and communicating with internal teams and government agencies.

Leads Teammate Relations Advisors and Generalists while advising business leaders on complex employee relations matters. Oversees escalated cases, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, investigations, compliance, risk mitigation, case-management workflows, and service-level metrics. Partners with legal, compliance, privacy, risk, and People Services teams. Analyzes workforce trends, improves processes, updates policies, and develops leader education initiatives supporting workplace civility and effective performance management.

Leads DaVita’s state government affairs and public policy initiatives across the Southeast. Analyzes legislative and regulatory developments, develops advocacy strategies, prepares policy materials, advises senior management, manages external lobby teams, and coordinates with agencies, industry groups, and community organizations. The role also supports long-term policy planning and political giving strategies while representing the company’s interests before state entities.

Lead the strategy, roadmap, governance, standards, quality, and adoption of the enterprise payer data domain. Partner with executives, data stewards, custodians, product, technology, analytics, compliance, and operations teams to prioritize data products and initiatives. Own domain-level decisions, definitions, metadata, policies, KPIs, regulatory risk, and stakeholder alignment while supporting provider and healthcare data strategies across the organization.

Supports commercial litigation and arbitration matters by coordinating case intake, tracking progress, maintaining files, managing document collection and production, preparing legal holds, and overseeing e-discovery. The role interfaces with outside counsel and business teams, develops dashboards and presentations for leadership, manages legal team policies and metrics, contributes to process improvements, and handles special projects within a collaborative in-house legal department.

Maintains and governs DaVita’s SharePoint intranet, Teammate Central, serving as a content-management subject matter expert. Responsibilities include publishing and auditing content, improving search and user experience through analytics and metadata, troubleshooting ServiceNow tickets, preserving brand standards, supporting intranet projects, coordinating with IT and vendors, and collaborating with content owners and leadership on platform enhancements and reporting.

Supports Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through transaction-level analysis, internal control testing, audit performance, documentation updates, findings communication, and process improvement. Coordinates with SOX teammates, responds to customer requests, attends meetings, and assists with reporting and special projects. The role requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, independent work, and up to 25% travel.
