This position provides support to attorneys who support a range of internal clients and Village programs.  The ideal candidate will become familiar with federal healthcare laws and regulations and State equivalents and use this knowledge to perform functions including but not limited to drafting policies and teammate-facing education, appropriately address situation-specific questions and working directly with field teammates to operationalize solutions to business and clinical needs, and auditing field compliance with existing policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research, analysis, and monitoring of state and federal laws, regulations, and policies that impact the provision of healthcare

  • Communicate effectively with legal and non-legal teammates about relevant policies and legal requirements

  • Manage general inboxes, project plan, policies and procedures, contracting process and other resources

  • Preparation and delivery of teammate-facing training on pragmatic approaches to regulatory compliance

  • Daily communication and interaction with business teammates within and outside of Atlas

  • Draft communication to legislative and government agencies

  • Preparation, review, and revision of complex legal documents as directed by Regulatory Counsel

  • Assistance on special projects

  • Collaborate on goal setting and track progress toward goals

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned include, but are not limited to:

  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

  • Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required

  • Minimum of five years policy analyst experience preferred

  • Project management experience required

  • Regulatory research experience preferred

  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory landscape helpful but not required

The Salary Range for the role is $62,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year.
