Build real-time and batch systems, ensure data quality and observability, partner with ML and risk teams, and mentor engineers to enable fraud detection and model-driven automation.

Build and scale AI-driven conversational platforms and integrations for money transfer on web, mobile, and third-party channels. Design, implement, and test backend APIs, storage, and third-party integrations; ensure system stability, observability, and security. Lead technical strategy, mentor peers on responsible AI use, evaluate AI-generated code, and prototype new AI solutions.

Lead the technical direction and architecture of Remitly’s Global Card product across web, mobile, APIs, and financial services. Build scalable full-stack systems using React, GraphQL, Java/Kotlin, Go, and TypeScript; lead cross-team initiatives and design reviews; establish AI-native engineering practices; improve reliability, observability, security, and quality; and mentor engineers across levels in a regulated payments environment.

Own execution of global employer brand and recruitment marketing: produce employee stories, manage social channels and advocacy, run targeted campaigns, create content and events, track performance, and partner with People and stakeholders to attract talent.
