Define the technical vision and multi-quarter strategy for Coinbase’s FinHub financial infrastructure. Architect scalable ledger and money-movement primitives across fiat and crypto, ensuring double-entry accounting, idempotency, reconciliation, auditability, reliability, and safe failure recovery. Build and operate a stablecoin payment rail for merchant checkout, subscriptions, refunds, reconciliation, and onchain settlement. Deliver full-stack features across Go services and React/Next.js interfaces, including APIs, protobufs, database migrations, wallet connectivity, and durable Temporal workflows. Improve accessibility, conversion, performance, and observability through logs, metrics, and traces. Participate in on-call rotations and collaborate cross-functionally to integrate Payment Acceptance into Coinbase’s developer platform.

Lead frontend development for Coinbase identity experiences including login, signup, OAuth, account security, and multi-factor authentication. Own projects from design through deployment and monitoring, guide Native versus Webview architecture, author technical designs, resolve systemic technical debt, lead on-call and incident response, and mentor engineers.

Own internal communications strategy for the People Success organization, advising the Chief People Officer and senior leaders on high-stakes messaging. Develop executive communications, town hall content, announcements, FAQs, editorial calendars, playbooks, and measurement frameworks. Coordinate with internal communications and cross-functional teams, translate People programs into compelling employee messaging, and use employee insights and responsible generative AI workflows to improve communication effectiveness and efficiency.

Own internal communications strategy for senior stakeholders, advising executives on messaging and change communications. Create scalable AI-powered communication systems for a globally distributed workforce, measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. Develop mission- and culture-focused content, support company-wide events, prepare speakers, and coordinate proactive, reactive, and issues communications with internal and external communications teams.

Plans and executes proactive and reactive communications for product launches, company announcements, media relations, executive communications, and crisis response. Develops messaging, blog posts, social copy, and web content; manages reporter relationships; prepares executives for media appearances; and partners with Legal, Policy, and leadership during issues. The role requires translating complex crypto and technology topics for mainstream audiences while using generative AI responsibly to improve communications workflows.
