Tenure-track Associate/Assistant Professor (9-month) in Electrical Engineering to teach, conduct research, mentor students, secure external funding, and lead/interact with the MUSiC SiC fabrication facility, HiDEC, and NCREPT. Must establish an externally funded research program in SiC CMOS/process development and power semiconductors and provide departmental service. Position is in-person.

Manage departmental fiscal operations for Mechanical Engineering, including procurement support, reconciliation, state/foundation/research account management, fiscal reporting and projections, and post-award liaison with OSP and Research Accounting to ensure compliance and efficient use of funds.

Lead and teach student-focused innovation programs across Commercial, Social Impact, and Entrepreneurial tracks. Develop and deliver content and training, support product teams and interns, manage multifaceted projects and competitions, supervise staff, and build cross-sector relationships using innovation methodologies.

Process and manage the full lifecycle of part-time and student employment transactions in Workday HCM, resolve routine to moderately complex HR inquiries, maintain accurate high-volume data entry, ensure compliance with university policies, and support divisional staffing and operational needs.

Develop, stabilize, and scale high‑purity epitaxial growth processes for SiC power-device R&D and low-volume production. Integrate processes into the MUSiC fab, collaborate with design and product teams, supervise staff, ensure quality via supervised processes and problem-solving (FMEA/8D), and support equipment maintenance and on-call operations.

Administer and maintain a centralized dashboard and multiple Smartsheet workspace environments. Design, test, and implement workflows and automations; manage data, approvals, reports, security, and user access. Provide user support, training materials, incident resolution, and collaborate with developers to enhance efficiency across college administrative units.

Provides administrative management and coordination for the AAST program, including communications, course and contract coordination, payroll and purchasing support, account reconciliation, events and travel coordination, website and social media content maintenance, program marketing, and supervision of office operations.

Serve as the first point of contact for the Arkansas Materials Institute; support marketing and recruiting to grow the institute and Materials Science and Engineering program; greet visitors and assist faculty, staff, and students; support administrative tasks and event coordination; help with website management and graphic design as needed.

Lead strategic and executive communications for the 150 Forward initiative, advising university leadership, crafting executive messaging, managing stakeholder and change communications, developing content and storytelling across channels, coordinating cross-campus campaigns, and overseeing multiple projects to advance institutional priorities and leadership visibility.
