Leads YMCA membership engagement, retention, recruitment, community outreach, and member experience initiatives. Manages and develops the Welcome Center team, coordinates coverage, builds partnerships, tracks membership data and KPIs, and uses insights to improve engagement and achieve growth goals. Represents the YMCA as a welcoming community resource while supporting its mission and values.

Build welcoming relationships with YMCA members and prospective members, lead facility tours, promote memberships and programs, support retention initiatives, communicate with members and staff, complete administrative reporting, and contribute to events, training, and team success.

Paid internship supporting market research, consumer insights, survey design, data analysis, and actionable recommendations for YMCA programs. The intern will use AI and tools including SurveyMonkey, Listen360, Google Sheets, and Excel to synthesize information and improve member experiences. The role offers exposure to executive leadership and nonprofit operations. Applicants must be enrolled in high school or university or seeking related experience, and must complete required application, background check, and internship documentation.

Supports employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, policy administration, training, engagement initiatives, audits, and HR records across multiple YMCA locations. Advises employees and managers on employment laws and policies, assists with investigations and documentation, maintains confidential data, processes employment changes, and contributes to an inclusive workplace culture.
